Mood swings?!?

I have severe mood swing like by morning I’m fine and dancing around having full convocations and midday I’m crying in my bed wanting to die or crying for no reason this goes on everyday and people have began to notice. My psychologist says that mood stabilisers might be a option if this carry’s on I was on matazapine but I’m coming off that and onto Promethazine (for my anxiety) I’m worried if I come off the matazapine my mood won’t inprove. Everything is effecting my school work me leaving the house even me leaving my room.

Hello IBS_Problems. Sorry to hear of your difficulties. In this case I feel that you have to be guided by your psychologists as they know you best. Are you also having any counselling or talking therapies?

I’m having CBT for my anxiety and ibs but we only cover that the mood swings and stuff like that aren’t getting anything (other then random medications) I will defo let you know if I get any improvement with different medications
