MAS Nurse and Moderator.
But what do they do if I call them
Hi again Shaeconner,
Talk to them please. They will listen and help you.
MAS Nurse.
That's good advice! All you need to do is talk about anything and everything or nothing at all and they will listen
It depends on quite a few factors, if you are now at risk it is vital you call the numbers given. You can ask NHS Emergency to take you in call Tel 999, or NHS Information Tel 111 EXPLAIN. They will ASSESS AND HELP

We can all try and talk, to calm your Suicidal Thoughts.
However you will need to be taken on to hospital or they can contact a Crisis Team to perform an assessment and look for the best way forward.
If you are in danger or do something that puts you at risk they may arrange to take you to a place of Safety, Section. You can also ask the Crisis Team if you are frightened to take you into hospital on a Voluntary Section, Use the telephone numbers given above.
I saw the Crisis Team after I attempted Suicide, they assess.

Is there a Mental Health Day Centre in your area, ask your GP or phone MIND they may be able to help.
I was referred into a Mental Health Day Centre by my CPN, Being with like minded people who can understand how you may be feeling and give knowing support is very helpful Members learn from each other and there will be Staff and Volunteers there who can help. Eventually, like me you may become a volunteer and help others.
My condition is a Chronic Pain condition and that can knock me down and my mood does still swing from side to side however I do look for ways to divert these thoughts. Consider any interests you do have, it may still take time to lift your mood, however diversions can make sufferers lift their mood over time and you will eventually move on

The Day Centres are very much Holistic and can take time to work. The problems with Mental Health can be lack of trust and the feeling of being lonely. The centres allow the sufferer time to trust once more and allow them to be supportive as members begin to be more positive in their outlook. Members have a part in this slow, tentative, way to gain the sufferer confidence.
After about twelve months I became Information Officer in the centre and that helped me, help others so my confidence rose. And then I was addressing my own problems, although I still had my Reactive Depression caused by Chronic Pain and Short Term Memory Disorder.
We also learn from tools explained to control much of the negativity we suffer from. I was with the centre for about 10/7 years and when we moved to the far end of our county I needed to let go. There is a centre here although now I keep busy with various hobbies and activities. Chronic Pain and memory is a real problem however my life has become more positive.
Give the centre more time to work, all it can cost is a cup of tea

What was your Court Case. ?
BOB
All sounds very nasty, have you talked to your Doctor to arrange a course of CBT.
It all seems so very excessive what has happened to you, if someone has lost you so much money I would be annoyed
What happened to cause Head Injury ?
BOB
When I was young I came of a moped, was sixteen at the time. The road was wet I went in a skid when a bus broke without lights and I ended up under the bus. I was bruised and a sprained wrist, also cuts. I was able to get back on the bike and get home.
How much damage did you do for yourself, it must have been a nasty accident.
What is your disability ? I had a car accident thirty years ago and it is in some ways, caused my disability, I was off work six months, eventually retired on medical grounds.
