my son has croans discease he has been given ferrous fumarate 210 mg which is very fierce his iron count is 9 is there some other iron that is milder that will do the same job

Thank you for your message. It sounds as if he is having some difficulties with this medication.

You don't mention how old he is, but he will need to talk to either a pharmacist or his doctor and let them know how the ferrous fumarate is affecting him.
