Hi Tech40, congrats on getting through the CBT! I’ve been seeing my psychiatrist for the last 5 years and she’s been great. A psychiatrist can prescribe psychiatric medications unlike a psychologist, so there’s likely gonna be some chatting about your mood and how things are going in life. That helps them determine what you’re going through and what may be helpful to you, whether it’s more therapy, medication(s), meditation... etc.

About the same as meeting a CPN etc, no difference.

Last time I had an appointment, they discussed medications, I was just left alone.

The last time I had an appointment He was part of a Crisis Team, I had a Social Worker, CPN, I was then handed over to a Trainee who would be doing my Mental health Course.

He came back and gave me my results, then I was put back with CPN and Social Worker.
