Hello all you beautiful readers! I am new here to the community. This is my first forum/discussion board I have joined. Thank you for your kindness and understanding. I am wondering if anyone has had multiple diagnoses when going in to their psychiatrist. I was diagnosed with Bipolar Disorder, ADHD, General Anxiety Disorder, Social Anxiety Disorder, PMDD, and I have had type 1 diabetes for 28 years. I just felt like I got hit with a ton of bricks, happy that the new psychiatrist will maybe help me and could possibly have the right diagnoses to eventually get correct medications, but terrified at the same time I don't know where to start. Any suggestions would be great if you have dealt with some or any of these issues and how you are getting through it. Love to you and peaceful vibes. Thank you.

Has anyone dealt with multiple diagnoses at once?
My condition is a Chronic Pain diagnosis that affects extensive points in the body.
My Depression is Reactive to my health problems. Discuss your concerns with your Specialists and your GP, they are both well versed in mixing selected medication that will reduce any side effects you may have. If you have a diagnosis you are half way there, good luck we are always around

Yup. Anxiety disorder, depression, OCD, social anxiety, hypochondria, and agoraphobia. Now I only have depression which is kind of getting worse and my anxiety has been stable only because I'm on sertraline. Ocd, social anxiety, hypochondria, and agoraphobia are gone, although you never know when its going to come back....
Shit! , you don't half go for it girl . Stick in there , it could be worse (not much) , but you'll get there . Have you got a Shihtzu, animals are wonderful healers, sorry I don't keep up with mail I am new also
I do have a shihtzu! His name is Otis and he has been my rock. He is starting to get annoyed with me crying all the time though, and just looks at me like ugh...again? Kind of funny. If I didn't have him things would be a lot more tough for sure. Animals/pets are amazing therapy!
