Our 32 year old daughter has been diagnosed with Depression, OCD,Bipolar, and others. She went to therapy when she was young and also was medicated. She has not been receiving help for the last 7-8 years and everything is getting worse. She refuses to get help. Her mother and I are at our wits end. We need help.

We need HELP
Hi,
If you are in the States, I suggest that you contact a NAMI office in your area. NAMI can assist with resources. The support groups are great too.
Always feel free to stay in touch here.
Blessings,
Delta
Thank you
Hi you mention 'others' in your message. Are you able to be more specific at all ? Not to worry if not. Bipolar comes with a lot of baggage unfortunately it's just knowing where to drop it off. I am 50 years young and can identify with some of the symptoms your daughter is experiencing. Sometimes the need to feel 'normal' can backfire and a refusal to admit difficulties is the result. It is our uniqueness that makes us who we are, and sometimes it can be difficult to bare. Acceptance is the key. 'I have difficulties in doing...so I will do x to help myself instead. ' Learning to care for yourself can be difficult. The tendency to over care for others such as children/a partner, is a blocking mechanism to make us forget ourselves or make us too exhausted to even think straight ! I am more than happy to message your daughter if she feels she can. My sister-in-law has bipolar and we chat all the time and support each other. It gives us a sense of well being and helps us to greet the day. I hope have been helpful xx
How are things going? I hope they've Improved for you all
