I was wondering I am bi-polar. That like me or people with depression/mental illness. Where your energy is so low you cannot get out literally out of bed and do not know how to return to the living. I do not even go to the washroom. I have to wait until it wares off. This one seems extra long. the few days in and out. I would love to hear from. Thanks!!!

Hi Wadestreet and thank you for your post. I am sorry to hear you are feeling unwell. Are you receiving treatment for bi-polar--medication / counselling / CBT? It would be a good idea for you to visit your GP so that your treatment can be reviewed, which will enable you to feel better. Please have a look at the pinned posts on the screen as they have some helpful information. Also MIND Mental Health Charity [mind.org.uk Mind information line 0300 123 3393] has some helpful advice. Are any members of the forum able to help and support Wadestreet, please? I hope you will soon be feeling better and remember that you are not alone. Take care and best wishes.
Sometimes it can look like most people could be bipolar, when they are running around trying to get more done than time necessarily allows for and then collapse in exhaustion after burnout both mentally and physically catch up on you. The tell tell signs for bipolar are the things you try to do when high are almost if you are trying to be supper human and really believe you and achieve the impossible yesterday and not be able to listen to reason and just as suddenly see your world as the darkest dungeon in the pits of hell, then there's some good medications that stop those extremes and feel more in control. Of cause there is also chronic fatigue syndrome which there are even a lot of links to diet especially the lack of certain gut bacteria necessary in our energy metabolism.
It is so difficult finding yourself exhausted feeling unable to help yourself not knowing how to even take that first step. There's a quote from Alice in Wonderland that I love, when Alice comes across Absalom smoking his thingy and says she's lost, he answered something like, well where do you want to go? and she said she didn't know with the reply then it really doesn't matter which path you take!
There is all sorts of help you can try, but someone said to me yesterday her great aunt who's in her nineties says make sure you paddle your own frigging canoe. Hun this is your life your body and you only get the one, when your ready go and talk in person to see what your options are, but never forget your the one driving so decide what you think might help and know what the direction it is you really want to head xxx
