I need someone!

I have no one to talk to in life that understands or can calm me down and I get horrible attacks. I’d love to connect with someone on a personal level as a friend in anxiety. Is anyone out there?

Nice to speak to you. If you are looking to speak to like-minded people then you have definitely come to the right place. There are lots of people on here who will be able to relate to how you are feeling and you are certainly not on your own.

Do you actually see your GP about your anxiety? and has he/she given you any anti-depressants?. If not, it may be a good idea to make an appointment (some people don't actually need pills, there are GPs who will refer you for "Talking Therapy"...The first time I was referred for this I though "Yeah...Right, there is no way I am going for that"..But do you know, I gave it a go and I found I really enjoyed it. Felt a bit funny about going in at first but when I left I was so glad I had went!!??..Sometimes,, all we need is someone to chat to!!

Keep posting and open up as much as you want to!!
