Hello everyone! I've been dealing with a ton of stress lately. I was in a sexually abusive relationship in 2014 at university. I reported it to campus and county police, but nothing was done about it. Now, I have to see him all the time because I have not graduated yet. On top of this another friend molested one of my female friends while I was in the same room. He was so sneaky about it that I didn't notice, but obviously I ended my friendship with him as soon as I found out what had happened. My female friend is going to open a case on campus in hopes of having him expelled. In addition, she plans to open another case with him involving the county police to hopefully have him punished by the law. I play a part in this as a witness. On top of this, I'm having some drama with a friend. I am doing the best I can in school, but my problems are having an effect as much as I try. As a result, I often get so stressed out that I don't know what to do with myself. On top of all of this, I have severe anxiety and major depression. Does anyone have any suggestions regarding how to cope?

*TRIGGER WARNING* Stress
Sexual abuse goes on way to much in this world and the good thing both you and your friend have done is speak out about it and tell the people what happened. Although a lot of the time it’s the case where you feel like justice has not been served! You know what’s right and wrong and don’t let anything or anyone ruin your education and life. Dealing with the stress of it all... well do the things you love or even try something new it may take your mind off the things that are troubling you and you may find a new thing you love to do.
Hello Luv, It's been awhile since we talked. If I remember correctly you are in the States. I read a book recently that address your situation. It is ; Missoula; Rape and the Justice System in a College Town. It will inform you of your rights and the process you need to go through. You will find out most colleges do nothing and in fact protect the perpetrator . It would defiantly be an advantage to you to have this knowledge . Don't let yourself become a victim of the system.
