I am feeling down, no energy and feeling like a machine. I feel drained working hard to make a living for the family. I have a wife with two beautiful children who I adore so much but I feel I am not being the real role model they ought to look up to. I get angry very quickly and have no patience for anything. Anyone for some advice?

Is it depression?
Has this been going on for a long time? You could just be burned out and I hope that's the case.
I agree it sounds a bit like the stress of being a working and family man. Go easy on yourself, I'm sure you are doing fine. It isn't easy being a parent and is very draining but if you do find yourself sliding into depression then maybe take up yoga or a sport to help manage the stress. x
Hi Samiko,
Welcome to our supportive community. As you have seen, folks here are very understanding and will empathise with your feelings and situation. You are not alone in how you are feeling. It maybe helpful to make an appointment to see your GP and have a chat about how you are feeling. He/she will be able to a general health check, blood tests etc to rule out physiological causes, and to explore possible mental health problems such as depression. Also, many folks during the Winter experience SAD (Seasonal Affective Disorder) symptoms including low mood, low energy which are treatable. nhs.uk/conditions/seasonal-...
It may also be that you are experiencing work-related stress. So in the first instance, seeing your doctor would be a good idea, as they may offer talking therapies, medications, diet and lifestyle changes etc.
Keep in touch, we are listening.
Best wishes
