Esa please help, advice needed

Hi I live in the West Midlands, I had my esa medical assessment on the 2nd of November and I haven’t had a decision yet, I rang up on Monday and was told that no decision had been reached.

Does anyone know how long it takes, I’m worrying myself sick everyday.

Hello harv-singh, thank you for posting on this forum where I hope you will receive lots of good support and advice. As far as I am aware it can take at least six weeks after your ESA medical assessment to get the results letter in the post. I understand it is a worrying time for you and you can always ring the DWP again to see how your application is coming along. Try to just take each day as it comes, as you don't want to make yourself ill with worry. You may also like to have a look at the website gov.uk for further information. Thank you for your reply, I have rang the dwp several times and they’ve told as of yet no decision has been made, everyday I panic, waiting for a phone call or a letter.

I feel like I’m going crazy, but I will take your advice and take it a day at a time, I wish I wasn’t this way, i desperately want peace in my life and for a long time it’s been a living hell.

Hi they rang me after about 3 weeks. if you have failed they will say you have not scored 15 points. Things for you to say. I would like a mandatory reconsideration. also write to them and request this. I would like a copy of the assessors report on this. you now have a month. my one bit of advice would be if you can get welfare rights to help you with form filling it will help you a lot. if you can get doctors to write letters about you that can help. DWP will put all the problems on you to show all medical evidence so do that as much as you can .They will not help you one bit and they do not write to your doctor and ask him how you are. All the dwp want to do is stop peoples money. I tried alone and failed this time. I no what your going through. so try to get help with form filling and get as much evidence as you can. They pay very little attention to what we write on are esa form.Even though we are not well and trying to represent ourselves with a mind like treacle. Take care Tony.

Harv don't worry it can take a few weeks, they will contact you via letter with the decision, I hope you received the outcome you want.
