Hi there. I am bi-polar and would love to get to start feeling better especially this time of year/season. I belong to NHS weight loss program on this site and enjoy it very much. I am taking a leave of absence for just a month to get handle on my illness. Just today for example I overate because I was not feeling well mentally of my depression end of it . I cannot handle the pressure of the scales right now. To much for me. Between the eating did some sleeping. I am so discouraged. How does this site work? I would love to come together with this site. I just want to feel normal and joy each day as it comes. I would love your comments and tips. And tips to find my way around this site. Thanks

What you did is exactly how it works. You vent, talk/post what’s on your mind, ask questions etc. and we comment and offer support and share our own stories and you will see that your not alone on this journey to getting better.

I come here I read others posts if I can offer advice I reply, sometimes just acknowledge their post by liking it cause some just want to be heard, and I to post what’s going on with me, how and what I’m feeling at the moment, and ask questions as well.

I find a lot of people here are very supportive and understanding makes it a bit easier to get through the issues/problems. Knowing that I’m not alone on this fight or struggle. It’s like shoulder to lean on or having an ear to listen but app/tech wise.
