Just lost my reply , which was a long one, but yes I'm on loads of meds. Not sure it's all good thought to be honest or that they know exactly what they are doing. A lot of it is guess work which I think we see more of in the mental health field than in the physical health feed. Same goes for diagnosees in this field.
This is just my opinion, before anyone gets mad at me. I'm entitled to my opinion.

Hiya, I think with all medications it is a question of finding out what works for you and that may take some time and may involve a combination of several different drugs. However, if you are in any way concerned about what you are taking and whether it is appropriate, I think it is something you should discuss with the doctor who has prescribed them and, presumably, your medication will be reviewed at regular intervals. There is a lot of information about drugs and their side effects on the internet, which can be a double-edged sword. It can be empowering but can also be a bit unnerving, especially if you read some of the forums. But, of course, we are all individuals and your prescription must be tailored to fit exactly your own circumstances. Take care,
I found your post very interesting. I'm only on 50mg sertraline a day. I was on that drug and amount for decades then last year my GP weaned me off them. Within 3 months I was suicidal and had to beg for them back. I've been back on that dose since April and I really don't think it is enough. I have deep depression, don't go out, and truly think I don't have any reason to keep going. I didn't know that GPs can prescribe more than one anti depressant type medication.
