Head pain
Have you tried writing down how you feel?
Yea that usually work for me most times
Lay down take deep breaths and listen to some calm meditation sounds they have some on YouTube, it might help
Hi Jamesh77, have you spoken to your GP about how you are feeling? It may help you to do this.. Also, as others have suggested, have you tried to write down how you are feeling? Try to take some deep breaths and relax. Please continue to post on the forum so that other members can provide support and remember that you are not alone. Best wishes.
Thanks I'll try I just feel everything is getting to me so many problems to deal with just can't seem to cope
James theres a lot of good advice on here and i hope it helps you get better ! Talking to your doctor will definately help dont bottle up your feelings as this will only make matters worse do you have anyone you can talk to in confidence about how you feel as a good support network will help a lot ! I wosh you well davidu
Sorry to hear that you're having another rough day. Have you come across anything at all that helps to shift your focus away from all those intrusive thoughts (no matter how brief this temporary relief might last for)?
Hi not really I feel as though it's a constant battle all day everyday no motivation I feel like I don't even no who I am most days I want to sleep n wake up different but I can't even switch off to sleep
How do you spend your time each day? Are you going out to work or college or are you stuck at home all day with no energy or motivation to do anything? How long have you had depression for?
I'm currently off work sick at the moment been a few months now I try and get to the gym other than that I'd probably be home alone the days feel so long I've been feeling like this 3/4 years now with little change
Yes, being off work can be a double edged sword. On the one hand, the rest can be a good thing but on the other hand, the days can be very long with too much time spent alone and the loss of that regular routine and structure can also make things worse. Do you live on your own? I do and it gets a bit much sometimes.
Morning James, do you know what's causing the head pain, is it physical? Could you go out for a little walk? Sending you positive vibes, that you get through the day, failing that I find that if my head is spinning , I have stared writing things down again, not had a journal for years, but when you live alone it's a good way off off loading. Take care G .
Hi James
I get that burning feeling left side top of head due to not sleeping then worrying if I'll sleep that night.i think it's your cognitive function.ive just had insomnia for two weeks I had been off cit and sleeping ok but then got this again trigger was leaving job and starting new one.back on meds mirtazipine for sleep anxiety.have you spoke to your docs have you tried meds yet.good luck if you can focus to read try that.
Hi spoke to the docs just upped my doseage of sertraline from 50 to 100 few weeks back so that could be it I wasnt feeling great on them anyway
Have you been on sertraline before and if you have, did it help you? I'm just wondering if it's having any benefit for you or are the side effects just making everything worse?
Well done for keeping up with this
