Hey, looking for some advise or if anyone has the same problem. I have been single for a while and every time I start speaking to a woman I push them away and tell them about my illness etc. Anyone have the same issues ?

Remember you are not your diagnosis.

You are still you, you only have to tell someone as much or as little as you want to.

I think because we care so much and worry about people leaving us that's where we can push people away, try to take things one day at a time.

Maybe you should first get to know them better. Once you're close enough such confession will not be a push away but a way of opening up in front of another person. Sometimes vulnerability connects people more than divides.

I agree with the others. I think it's probably the fact you are going much too fast which scares the woman away more than anything else. When the time is right to start telling her about your BPD you will know. I would advise you to be very low key about it at first until you see her reactions. x
