This post might not appeal to everyone but hey ho!
I'm thinking that writing down a goal here for the day would be good. People can reply and then update. There can be supportive feedback aswell. Some days it's an achievement just to get up. Others it's talking to someone. Once in while it's something big like a social work meeting. Make it as you want.
My goal today is walking my dogs at the beach.

That is a good goal to have and achievable, well done. However if you don't achieve it but are able to get the dogs and walk a little that is also good, but don't beat yourself up if you can't achieve all of it in one day.
Hi DMM218
What a fabulous and positive idea. I hope you enjoy your walk on the beach with your dogs. How many do you have? I have a cavapoo named Izzie and my goals today are to walk Izzie and to be kind to myself. Will let you know how I do. Happy walking!
Thanks. I have a chow chow called SuSu or Shaun (I'm awful for nicknames) and a Pomeranian called Pompom! They should get out even if around the block. Weather sunny but windy so no excuses there!
We're fortunate to live 20 mins from some of the most unspoilt beaches in the UK. Plus whenever I'm home in Ireland, flitting over to Cobh or Bantry, etc. really boosts the spirits when needed.
My update - I didn't get out to beach but short walk round the houses. Will re aim for tomorrow. However, I did have good day. Some helpful chats online and I did some painting. So worry levels down, not feeling totally exhausted and did something useful to me.
Im gonna create long term goal today, so I can be happier about life and the future. Instead of focusing on how I messed up my life and it didn't turn out the way I wanted and the choice I made resulted in me getting dumped Often feeling hopeless and sad. So today I created a long term (8yr) Financial Plan. To help me looking forward and have goals to achieve
