Feeling low

Feeling very low. Normally I can shift this low mood. Dr has given me tablets not helped in 3 weeks. I write down positives every day but the low mood takes over. Most of my stress has come from looking after a disabled child over the years. A recent stay in hospital with the child has left me very anxious.

I am a carer now it is exhausting at times. Welcome to the forum.

Hi this must be all very difficult for you. Give the meds time to work though as they can take up to 6 weeks to get fully into your system. It's often trial and error anyway but you will get there in the end. Stay positive and hopeful. x
