Hi everybody, I'm getting down again and can't seem to stop it I recovered from a 10 month bout of depression and anxiety and went back to work last June but have found it difficult to adjust I back into the team . Since this year has started it's been getting worse and I've now been off work for over two weeks for anxiety and was prescribed propranolol to try and control the symptoms. I've increased the dosage but it hasn't made a lot of difference and I've just started feeling tired all the time and numb. I've tried to remember my cbt exercises and I at least this time recognise the signs and not tried to work through it like last time. I just don't know what to do for the best.

Getting lower and lower..
Hi juliea2705,
A few days back I suffered from the similar problem. I was very stressed and couldn't cope up with my work. I started to feel tired and numb for most of the time of the day. But what really helped me with dealing with the stress was self-determination. I consulted with my doctor and went for counseling sessions and from there on I learned that "the greatest weapon against stress is our ability to choose one thought over another."
Dear julia2705,
From what I can ready you have the strength to get back and you can do the same again.
I hope your manager is supporting and understands. Having a friend or buddy in office with whom you can share your thoughts is also advisable.
Take healthy and regular meals. Take enough rest and sleep on time.
In my organisation they have started meditation classes and since I have joined, I can see a positive change in myself. I hope it work for you as well, check with your doctor before starting.
We are all here for you.
Take care
