Hi everyone.
It's been a few weeks since my last post. I'm back in London and throwing myself back into work. I'm not sure about anyone else but being busy puts a short term lid on your real mood and kind of numbs you (which is neither a good or bad thing). It's the way I cope. Anyway yesterday I finally got a phone call from a clinic nurse who asked me a whole bunch of questions to diagnose that I've got GAD (Generalised Anxiety Disorder) with a hint of depression and OCD. I know it's weird but I'm relieved at being diagnosed as I feel there's an explanation to what's wrong with me along with some treatment options. I've gone against anti-depressant or anti-anxiety drugs so they're going to put me forward for CBT. Has anyone had this before? Is it good for anxiety? Does it work?
I'd also like to say a big thank you for the support and advice you gave me after my last post. You can't believe how much it helped to know other people can relate to you, and all your advice was taken on board. I hope I can do the same in this community. Thanks again
