Hi guys just had my sertralaine put up t 150mg and now n a new sleeping tablet called amitriptyline, or smthing like that, just need sme advice does anyone have any ideas how too combat paranoia.

Hi Phil, As you know, I am not a doctor . I have taken amitriptyline which is an anti-depressant and I've also been on sertralaine also an antidepressant. They are not compatible as far as I know. I'm not trying to out doctor your Doctor, but you might want to check on that. Concerning the paranoia, I wonder if it could be from the amitriptiline? Let me know what you find out. Pam

Your Amitriptyline is actually another type of AD , yes it will make you sleep it also has will work in conjunction with your other medications.

Hi Phil, have you told your GP about your paranoia ? f you haven't I think you need to, as this can be helped by other medications. Antidepressants would not cause this but talk to your Dr. Sooner rather than later.

Why suffer? If you can get it addressed.
