Hi ive had sevre depression since i was 14 along with sucidal thoughts. Only just been put on meds. Would like to meet oeople in similar situations.

Hi, I've had depression for a long time, it started as severe anxiety when I was about 20 and I started hating going out, I lost a lot of friends because of it and it only seems to be getting worse. I hope you are ok, you can message me if you ever want a chat.

How's it going with your medication and what have you been prescribed?

I am on citalopram 40mg was on 20mg but gp upped the dose im also on 50mg of quitapine for sleeping. Some days feel like the meds are working but other days i feel sucidal xx

Welcome aboard the community where we are all alike .. I was on quetapine and had to stop it as I ballooned on it and it made me into a complete and utter zombie

Yeah i feel like all i want to do is sleep. Working shifts dont help. An thank you

Wow I don't know how u manage it. .. They had me a slobbery mess and I was flaking out willy nilly

Yer I know .. It so tempting .. I took an overdose end of October and I would not advise it .. Hospital had me hooked up to drips and they were most uncomfortable plus I had a seizure

Not good hun. Only thing keeping me going is my daughter. Feel so alone all the time aswell like ive no one to take to x

Good that you have your daughter. Keep going for her as she needs you .. You can offload here anytime. You may not get an immediate answer but you will get one eventually off someone .. Everyone here is very nice and make you feel welcome.
