I chatted to mental health team today. Like I do every Thursday. I admitted somethings to them what I have done now they want me to see someone at the mental health unit at The Lakes in Essex. I try to be honest as I can especially after I was so close to dying after my 6 overdose. My life has fallen apart and I do feel like I don't no who I am anymore. I only have my dad who can't handle my mental health. My partner get angry and sometimes take the piss. I just want to be held and someone tell me it'll be alright like my mum would do 😭

Feel I'm getting worse.
Hi Claire. It's good that at the mental health unit. That's a good start.
Your partner gets "angry and takes the piss"? Well righto then, hows THIS sound for getting "angry and taking the piss" ... pack his clothes, and place them by the door ... THAT'S his cue to take a long walk off a short jetty UNTIL he can start to learn to be compassionate and start helping YOU to HEAL rather than doing the opposite. He HAS to leave Claire because he's making matters worse and you need to find a supportive network to help you heal.
You also need serious bereavement counselling.
Your dad it seems has found solace in another woman ... if memory serves me correctly. You say your Dad can't handle your mental health issues. Is that can't or won't? You're his flesh and blood so he needs to man up and support you, even a little. Tell him what you need from him ... start small though.
YOU CAN WILL GET THROUGH THIS! With the right meds, therapy and support structures in place, you will get through it. Make sure you have a small manageable goal to aim for k?
I wish you peace 🌼
Hi Claire
I can't relate to what you are going through, to have the opposite of support from people who are supposed to love you is awful and wrong.
Please be totally honest with the mental health team and tell them all the details as they need as much information as possible to help you. This is going to be hard and take it out of you when you don't have much in the tank, so after the session make sure you are able to do something nice - be with a friend, take a walk in the park - whatever works for you.
You are important Claire and it is great that even though you are going through it that you are actively seeking support. Please keep trying Claire and if it really is right to ditch this so called partner then keep the option on the table.
Thinking of you, Matt
Got my appointment through already. It's next Thursday 29th. I'm worried about going after telling them things. But I've promised so many people I wouldn't do anything. But when ur that low and need a way out u will do anything. I don't want to be judged, coz at the moment it's my safety net.... my way out. ( if I needed too)
Keep breathing Claire, think kind thghts about urself and work on a plan with ur friends or us on here too get ur life back into the light, godbless u
Dear Claire Please allow yourself to put Claire first! Your cry for help & understanding from your father & partner is not being heard! Now do to yourself what your mum would do , hug yourself, look after yourself put your needs first, tell yourself, IT WILL BE ALRIGHT!
