Hi everyone! Please can someone say? My upper blood pressure is continually now for many months around 130-140 while the down one is usually anything below 80. E.g. 131/76. Is this normal? Why wont the upper one go down? I am on BP medication intermittently. Tnx somebody.

Hi there

I'm sorry but I don't know anything about blood pressure really.

All I can say is to maybe google it.

At least your under the dr and on meds.

Take care.

Your local pharmacy might do BP readings and explain it yo you.

Actually 131/76 would be an acceptable pressure. BP also depends on age & factors such as familial, worry / stress, smoking etc. If you have headaches or are worried please see your GP . Best wishes Pixiewixie
