I'm sure it will if the Dr. Recommends it why not trust him, rather than us who

Don't know you, if you get what I mean. Be guided by GP, of course Medication

Helps but other things are important too, excercise. Good diet. Socialising and

Having hobbies and feeling connected. Mindfullnes helped me with anxiety.

Good luck and let us know know you get on.

Thank u so much for input Hanna . I am afraid of side effects . I'm trying different things . Connectiveness is very important I am trying to find that . I know meds can only do so much . Just worried why I have to keep increasing x

Andy I think sometimes Drs. Start low with some antidepressants depending on which one. I have had this too, so don't worry too much about it. I guess once they find the dose that works for you they will stick at that. People can be different too. Ok talk again and take care of yourself .

It's hard starting out on antid's as myself I'm used to it now.

If you feel slightly better on those meds and you have been on it for over a month but feel you could be better then I would increase. If it has no effect on you, give it a month. If it makes you worse speak to you DR. It is an ssri and should sort out the anxiety. He could always try you on another drug

Thank you I am leaning towards the increase x

Generally if you have been on a lower dose at the beginning of treatment your GP can and will most probably increase the dose if you seem to be ok on the lower dose.

Generally I would accept your GPs advice and go for the increase at this time.

If you are offered a course of treatment, go for that as well as thy will most probably explain relaxation techniques and that will also help.

When the medications fully kick in hopefully you will begin to continue your life choices as you begin to feel more at ease

Good Luck
