Eating banana daily helps to fight depression. It contains a protein Tryptophan which is converted into serotonin which helps you to relax and feel good. So start eating at least twice a day.
Please also note that banana is a mine of nutritional benefits.

Thank you for that information, I could not eat more than one banana a day, as personally we need to have a well balanced diet that consists of various other fruits.
Mind I would love to be able to grow them in my Orchard.
Hi, do you know that a bit riper banana has black patches on its yellow skin. These black patches produce a substance called TNF,Timor necrosis factor, which has capability to kill abnormal cells. So riper the banana ,more the anti cancer property.
Funnily enough after my divorce I changed my diet to include mainly fish, avocado, bananas, berries, red wine (essential), green veg, houmous, dark chocolate, nuts, soya or nut milk, eggs and linseeds. I felt great and lost a lot of weight. I only got depressed when I stopped listening to my body and started back on what is supposedly a healthy balanced diet. I also put on a lot of weight again.
I think I changed it originally because I was feeling ill and I thought maybe I was allergic to gluten. I had been under a lot of stress and had a permanent stomach ache. The change made a huge difference. A lot of the food I chose was because I could at last eat what suited me and not worry about my ex. After a while I thought I would reintroduce gluten in small doses and it seemed ok, so I thought maybe the stress was the main factor. I think I kind of relaxed too much, and also took on other problems without thinking them through. Now I am aiming to try to find a way to eat my choice of food, and limit my stress.
