Sparkleblue I do feel for you because pain is so debilitating and with your partner's depression on top as well. The meds you are on should help a little with the pain but like you say they will make it difficult for you to wake up in the morning.
It sounds like a tough situation . I cannot tell you what is wrong with you except that it sounds like it could be fibroymyalgia. It can feel pretty bad and some of the symptoms you describe would fit.
I expect you will have been to the doctors from the sound of it and you are right if it is fibro then it will not show up on tests, but yet again they may find it is something else.
I have had very bad pain for some time. It used to infuriate me every time they told me it was just because I have depression. I still see them as seperate but of course the one does influence the other as it is hard to be in a lot of pain and not get depressed.
Sorry to hear you are going through all of this and I hope you feel a little better soon. Gemmalouise X
Thankyou for you kind mess yes don't get ke wrong i do have beter day the pain still there but its just not nice if i new what was wronge i could get on with my life i hate been like this but i just read others stroys and i know i can get threw it in the end i will have to cope and i just hope i can find something to manage my pain like a curtain diet and wish i could exercise but can't. Its horrible thinking you docters may think its cause of depression i just think sometimes doctors don't take ppl who gave suffered with depression as serious as some one who has never had depression. Thankyou again for kind email x
Hi
Sorry you are feeling so rotten and in pain, but I am wondering whether your symptoms are those of fibromyalgia as the kind of pain you describe in all sorts of places can be fairly typical and fibro often accompanies depression. Do google fibromyalgia and see whether you think your symptoms fit, also look at the history and other predisposing factors. If you think you may have fibro then it would be worth contacting the fibro UK society to see whether there is a support group locally - I did that and they are very friendly and will advise you how to get a formal diagnoses and also how to help treat the symptoms.
Thankyou so much for this yes i will definitely look into it and try and find some answers i will ket know how in geting on thankyou for kind mess people are really kind. I used the US site and thort i am not geting anywhere hear some ppl were nice but i just felt thay were crisizing me in some way take care and thanks x
