Hi Binky nice to meet you and welcome to the site. We are a very friendly and supportive bunch so come in anytime. We will do our best to help you. x
Hi coughalot1 and thanks for the welcome, the more the merrier hopefully. How are you today x
Hi Binky, welcome to the funny farm! I'm looking forward to getting to know you some more x
Hi Lucy34, nice to be at the funny farm if you know what I mean.
I've suffered depression for over 20years with good days and very bad days ..the support from doctors etc is appalling even in this day when mental illness is widespread, my experience is that you just have to get on with it which is easier said than done when you don't even have energy to get out of bed never mind anything else. I'm a mother of 3 grown up kids and recently divorced which had been so stressful but a day at a time. How are you x
Hi
Welcome to the site. We are a friendly bunch of people who all suffer from depression so will support you as much as we can and will welcome your support whenever you feel up to it. Write whenever and however you need to as long as it is polite and you will usually find someone will get back to you as soon as they are online.
It can feel confusing to use the site at first particularly as some of us have been using it for a while and have learned about one another, but there are a lot of other new people too so you will not be alone.

Hi Binky your very welcome here.
You will get to know us all in time. It's a good site with the odd lively if heated
Debate. Anyway hope to chat to you later in more depth.
Hannah
Thanks Fallen Angel, Sue & Hannah for the welcome. It means a lot to know that we can support each other and let off steam when things get tough.
I'm trying to go easy on myself and not push myself too much, even it's just sitting at home relaxing with a coffee and not stressing over housework to be done ... there's always things to be done isn't there & it'll be there when I have energy to tackle it ... starting it all is the worst bit I think. My energy is very low so I'm just going at my own pace .. slow haha!

Hi Blinky, you are welcome here. Nice to have you here especially if you have a sense of humour. It helps to laugh at life. I have depression and anxiety and had various experiences with the 'system'.
Good to meet you. Keep in touch be good to share experiences.
David
Hi David and thanks for the welcome
Nice to meet you too
I agree it's good to be lighthearted or else we would go mad .. seriously! I also suffer terrible anxiety and isn't it awful to be such a worrier. I tell my kids that it's pointless worrying as it doesn't change the outcome but I should take that advice myself
Was watching Britains Got Talent and that's a laugh haha but not in a good way
Hope you're having a nice evening
