Feeling rough :(

Struck down by the awful norovirus and spent the whole of last night with my head down the bog! Nothing since but just feeling weak and pathetic now. Had to call in sick which I hate doing, especially as I'll be missing an important meeting that I wanted to be at. Bluueeegh!

Lucy I'm sorry to hear you have the dreaded Norovirus. It's horrible. My best friend

Who was here on Sat. Has it too And had to call in sick.

Plenty of fluids and a bit of toast if you can manage it. Also Immodium or Motillium

Are good.

You can get little sachets of Dioralyte in chemist to replace electrolytes. They

Are handy to have in First Aid Chest.

Hope you get better real soon.

Thank you! I'm a bit scared to have toast in case I'm sick again, but feeling weak at not having eaten anything is just as bad! Lucy X

Try a tiny bit of toast to test the waters as if I don't eat, I feel sick.

Sorry to hear that you are feeling rough but norovirus is one of those things. Forget about the meeting - you shouldn't be at school passing it on to the children and everyone else - I think they usually reckon you should leave it 3 days until you are not infectious again.

Hope you are managing to take plenty of fluids.

Would have thought in this day and age that school would have some way of enabling you to join an important meeting by telephone ... might be something to suggest when you get back.

Take care of yourself.

Sorry to hear you are ill. I have a bit of a cold and with the depression too it makes things worse.

Try and keep your spirits up with doing something you enjoy. Treat yourself to something. Internet shopping is very theraputic!

Take care.

This has made me smile. My sister doesn't know any Welsh, and whenever she meets a welsh speaking person she says the only words she knows ... 'Ty bach os gwellych yn dda' which means 'toilet please'!

Lucy that is funny. Welsh seems to be quite

A difficult Language. It makes Russian look

Easy. . Diolch Bawb does that mean Thank you? .

Ah I like Languages and I kept looking at

All the Welsh words. So Nos da Lucy

It means thanks everyone! I don't speak that much Welsh to be honest, but it's fairly easy to learn!

Personally I want people to stay at home if they have noro - really don't want it :)

Try bland binding foods once you are on the mend - bananas, cooked apple, rice

Glad you're feeling bit better Lucy. Gemmalouise x

Oh No!! I'm sorry you were feeling so rough yesterday. By coincidence, so was I only with me the other end was down the toilet... What a pair.

Take care of yourself and forget meetings, they will survive without you.

I hope things pick up with you soon, have a hug from me when you feel up to it.
