Feeling really emotional today .....

Well if having a few days respite, then turns into massive lows I'm really not up for that..

So emotional and tired today....taking me all my time to write something here....

I feel low, frustrated, annoyed and to top the lot have back pain....

I'm stopping writing now because I'm annoyed with myself too for being so miserable.....

Hope you feel better as the day goes on. Only one way to go and that is UP. First thing in the morning is always the worst, anticipating what the day will bring. I always go for a walk first thing and that makes me feel better. All the best for a day that gets better. xx

Thank you jeffju

Mornings are the worse your right, but since going away for a weekend to visit friends I feel so low...think I'm doing some kind of reality check.....

Hope you ok

Sue xx

The feeling of having to 'pay for doing something' after one makes effort to do something 'normal' is one I experience as well, Sue.

I think it may have something to do with the amount of additional effort one puts in to an activity that most non affected people would not even guess at.

There is bound to be a repercussion in terms of feeling exhausted and a little 'flat' after the 'peak' of doing the activity has passed - this is something I am all too familiar with.

However, think of it like this:

That killer pair of Choos in the shop window that one simply had to have?

The pleasure of wearing them for the first time, the sly glances at the reflections in the window as you walk by as your newly heeled feet and ankles strut by.

The smell of the leather and tissue paper as you put them back in the box and pop them back in the bottom of the wardrobe.

OK, so you're going to have to live on porridge for the rest of the month.....but it was worth it.

Made me smile about the Choos....:)

Good to know I'm not the only one, almost makes you not want to do 'normal' things, although I soooooo want to get better it has to be done I guess. Paying for it today :(

No such thing as a free lunch, kiddo.

You'll feel better soon.

Hi It sounds as though you really beat yourself up for feeling low instead of just letting yourself be low. Feeling low usually makes me feel angry and perhaps that's true for you and that you need to express the anger, maybe by writing about it on here, rather than directing it at yourself. You cope the best way you can at the time and that's all any of us can do. We all get depressed sometimes, that's why we write here. Don't make things worse for yourself by punishing yourself for being that way - easy to say I know, I also beat myself up as you know! Hope you feel better soon, Suex
