I had an inguinal hernia successfully repaired 18 years ago with mesh inserted. However, for the last year I've had really severe pain when approaching orgasm ~ I have no problem achieving erection (and am as horny as ever!), but once the passion starts to build I get a rapidly building, stabbing pain in the site of the repair, enough to leave me curled up and speechless for several minutes.
I've pursued this through the NHS, and spoken to the surgeon who carried out the op, but he dodged the issue and I seem to have been dropped. Has anyone sorted a similar problem? Perhaps with alternative therapies?
