cholesterol side affects

Satin drugs affect liver function. AST and ALT emzyne counts are affected. Sounds reasonable, BUT could the enzyme count double in a 3 month period?? Last two years on my Satin drug both AST and ALT counts were fairly stable. Any opinions?
