What is Fatigue exactly?

I have always suffered from very occasional (like every two weeks) feeling of weakness with internal shaky effect like I have to sit down and rest. I am not dizzy or nauseous; just like I want to flop down somewhere. It sometimes happens after rising in morning and can last several hours. Recently, it has been quite strong like 7 on scale of 10 but mostly 3 or 4. Is this what is called Fatigue?

Also worth checking out ME/ Chronic Fatigue Syndrome information. Many of these have a spectrum, with some saying it's all in the mind or others ' pull yourself together '. Just be careful. Good to start diary to see if it relates to something, ie food, sleep, activity. Also check Fibro Myalgia (FM) information and see doctor - heart or breathing issues ?
