I had a drink from the same cup as someone I suspect to have hiv

Can you get hiv from sharing a cup
In short, no.
You would have to be a lot more intimate with them than sharing a cup. You would need to share bodily fluids (blood, semen, etc). It is theoretically possible to get HIV from saliva but it would be extremely unlikely that HIV would be transmitted even by intimate kissing.
So, no, you could not catch it by sharing a cup.
Even if we both had bleeding gums
No - just not possible - HIV is very difficult to catch. Even people who are having sex do not always pass it on. So unless you had sex together it isn't going to happen - move on.
It is not possible to get HIV by sharing a cup. Also if this person does have HIV and is having treatment and is undetectable he/she cannot transmit HIV even when having unprotected sex
Let's suppose just for a moment that you did catch HIV by sharing a cup - even though it is impossible. What would you do? I would suggest you would go and get tested. If, despite everything we've said, you still aren't content, then go and get a test.
But I guess you probably won't believe that either....
