It depends. If you have nothing wrong and are going to the doctor for a simple examination you can go to a GP but if you think there might be a problem which requires surgery you should go to a urologist. Good luck.

Depends on what you intend to have done on that examination. If it is regarding possible STD/STI you can go to a clinic where they do that.

If you want to have other stuff checked out into depth, your urologist would be the best bet. GPs usually tend to obvious and superficial stuff. I tend to go to them with a flu but nothing really more as most of the time they refer you to a specialist anyway.
