No point going on about the symptoms, the effect they have on quality of life, work, relationshipsetcetc.
Ive just gotten over yet another 4 month period of utter wasted time. Im 64. This was the worst attack.
Things ive learned and things medics dont talk about.
1.Bugs travel up the urethra. Im not jusy talking about STD's. But im talking about E.Coli, ureaplasma and yep viruses. So gents who are vulnerable to prostatitis sadly wear a condom. And as for felatio well avoid it. Loads of stuff live in the female mouth and pharynx.
2.So your partner bleeds in the middle of her cycle. Check it isnt from blood in your ejaculate. Most people dont realise about haematospermia. The lady goes for tests when its the prostate bleeding!!. You can see the blood in a condom test.
3.Cipro can cause serious tendinitis in the achiles. I wont take it anymore also because GPs swear by it.Why do the swear by it. Because its on their computer screen.
4. Hot baths dont help. They hurt my urethra. Bath salts etc are an irritant to a sensitive urethra.
5.Quercetin does work. But when you are well you must take it daily.
6.Talk about it to people especially your family. They need to know you cant lift stuff or take the recycling out.
7. Keep exercising to walking and fresh air.
8. Avoid alcohol.
9.Prepare for the long haul psychologically.
10.It does end. Eventually.
11. Read 1.again
12. Finally on cycling. No correlation. Its dehydration not cycling.
