2 Week Update - Raw Frenulun

Hey guys. So I'm 2 weeks post-op, and while my upper penis is healing well, my frenulum area still doesn't heal. Doesn't seem to be stitches, but it's quite raw. Don't know if this is normal.

Are you sure that the stitches didn’t rupture in that area? Call the doctors office. I was able to send them a picture with an email.

Did that rip occur from erections??? It seems like he didn't leave enough slack skin for your penis to elongate in during erections. He did a bad estimation

My previous post shows how it looked before. I think an erection Monday night may have caused it, cause I had a heavy bleed Tuesday morning at work, but was able to stop it not long after.

Hi Toby,

Do please get that looked at by a doctor asap. A raw patch like isn't good; I imagine it could very easily become infected.

Hey! Thanks, infection is also a primary concern for me. I have a clinic appointment tomorrow and will definitely ask a doctor to take a look.

Hi everyone. Just came from the Doc. Since the rip happened more than 48hrs ago, he doesn't want to risk re-stitching since some of the wound has started healing, and tightening the skin again could result in more damage. I was given some antibiotics and antiseptic ointment to help prevent any infections. I am keeping the wound clean with salt water, but should not dip it since the scab will struggle to form.

The rest of my penis is healing quite well, so all they can recommend is patience and to continue keeping the wound clean. Will keep y'all updated 😀
