Swelling of penis after circumcision

Hi guys,

I got circumcised on the 24th July (Tuesday) it is now 30th July (6th day of circumcision). Immediately after the sugery penis looked fine however a couple hours after the penis swelled excessively to the point where the glans (head) of penis was covered. It was very difficult to urinate (no pain just went everywhere) for the first few days now the swelling has subsided a bit and the glans is now slightly visible.

Im worried since I still can't fully see the head of the penis after circumcision due to swelling and it is now day 6 after. I can only wash what I can reach and apply cream to the tip of the glans and not the whole head. I went to the doctor on the 25th (day after surgery) and he also was surprised by the swelling and said to give it a week.

I am worried guys. How can I reduce the swelling? I will be visiting the doctor on Wednesday (1st August)
