Should I be concerned that it is not going down? I've read it can take up to 6 months ... My doctor said it will go down eventually but it doesn't seem like it is... Anyone care to explain if there is a legitimate concern? Because I really am...

It's been 6 months and my swelling around my penis , like a ring, is still there after circumcision. (Warning pic included)

Can you offer any more info on the postion/nature/size of the ring?
The ring is largest and more inflamed and it's protruding underneath where the frenulum was cut of where the stitches were. The ring lessens greatly in size around the top of the head where the stitches were also. Like a rubber band with more plastic on one hemisphere.
Hi the “ring” swelling where the stitch site was is now disappearing after week 5 for me so 6 months does seem a long time to go and it’s showing no signs of going then you should see your doctor. Have u had/got a infection that’s stopping it going?
I m not sure. If it is an infection and I add some more antibiotic ointment on the site will it go Down?
If its an infection, you will need a pill to internally take care of that! Your wounds are definately healed at this time, so applying antibiotic ointment on healed skin tissue will do nothing..
I think the problem is you were left too much skin, and enough was not taken off.
Can you post an old pic during the time when you were actually swole? Also can u post a current pic of you erected? I want to see what does your inner foreskin do when erected, thanks!
I have the pictures in my profile so pls check it out. I'm actually quite concerned. I'm going to have a chat with another urologist.
