cut or not? disadvantages of circumcission
Most intact men would violently defend their foreskins for the pleasure it gives them.
thanks for the reply. can you answer my other questions also
Surely. Circumcision always leads to a loss in sensation for two reasons. The first is the loss of 20,000+ nerves in the foreskin itself. The second results from the gradual process of keritinization of the glans, a thickening of the tissue. That is probably the greatest disadvantage. Another, subject to taste is the change in appearance.
There are no disadvantages. I am circumcised as an adult so unlike most anti-circumcision people I've known a before and after. I can assure you that I didn't have lost sensitivity. My glans is still very sensitive. The foreskin is nothing but a flap of skin to protect the glans from getting hurt if you would run naked through the woods. But since humans have developed, the foreskin has lost its original function. It's not the foreskin that produces the orgasm but the glans!
5 almost 6 years ago I've been circumcised. But I noticed no difference in sensitivity since then. Scientific research has shown that too. A Canadian research reported in The Journal of Urology® indicates that there are no differences in penile sensitivity for a variety of stimulus types and penile sites between circumcised and intact men. They also discovered that there is no difference in thickness of the glans! The anti-circumcision movement just want us to believe otherwise.
Mine was due to possible cancer risk at age 52. Now all is fine but it was incredibly painful in the first few weeks. Sex can be more pleasurable now but overall I preferred having skin. With skin I had the option to pull back or not and sensation was with the foreskin and the shaft. Also I find masturbation was much easier and more satisfying before.
Each man has to make his own decision on their own needs but a word of warning. Circumcision may reduce the risk of HIV, or STDs, but it will not prevent it.
