Im guessing it’s some form of hypospadias right? Because my urethra is coming out of the midsection underneath my head, but why dors it look all mangled with patches of skins in certain places. I can also pull these skin patches up and there’s like a crevice to the right of my urethra where I can kind spread of put a finger in if it didn’t hurt. No idea where or how far it does lol.
THe front looks normal as can be but the otherwise not so much. I always thought penises should be nice dome shaped but mine has like a straight edge from the side view. Never really asked my parents about it and a little self conscious to be honest. It this normal? I’ve seen porn online and most men seem to have smoothed out heads.
Sorry I feel like this was kind of a lot haha so any answers will be appreciated.
Do you experience any pain of any sort? Like any pain when urinating? If no, I really wouldn't worry about it. Your penis looks perfectly fine to me. Not all penises are dome shaped...in porn they look better because these specific type of men are hired! As long as you don't experience discomfort when performing your regular daily activities, I wouldn't worry about it!
It is hypospadias. It seems like it wasn't picked up earlier when you are a child and does not sound like there are functional limitations. If there are no functional limitations (urination, ejaculation, sex), then the issue is cosmetic. There are surgeons that can improve the aesthetic appearance, but once again everything has a degree of risk. If you are content with the appearance, any there are no issues with function, then I wouldn't do anything. If you were going to pursue a surgical option, I would go with a surgeon with lots of experience doing this particular procedure (reconstructive cosmetic urology who has done many adult hypospadias repairs) and perhaps somebody with an additional subspecialty training in paediatric urology, as this is a fairly common procedure in this population. Not sure where you are, but if in the states, I would make sure the doctor also graduated from reputable medical school/residency. The cost for repair for purely cosmetic reasons would be quite high. Good luck.
I was 30/31 before I heard the word hypospadias. A young good looking doctor said it when he saw my penis. I went home and googled it and I remember crying as I saw that there was a name for it. That other guys have it. Someone above mentioned porn - never saw another penis like mine EVER until recently there's a very active porn dude with a circumcized version of my cock. YAY.
When I was a young man I was TRAUMATIZED by - not my cock - but by others' reactions to it. I had an ex-boyfriend that went around the small town gay community we lived in telling people I had a deformed dick. (I was very well known there.)
Of course - he was right but when word got back to me I was devastated. I went into a long dark period of sexuality. I am very lucky to have made it through all of that.
I still get rejected. I still have my insecurity. But I've finally gotten to the point, at near 50 years old, I can talk about it. I can show it to someone. Explain it.
For me - I've found that nudism has made it easier to just talk about it. Naked with other dudes. Of course I'm older. Teenage boys and guys in their 20s are still not that open-minded about the amount of heartache I've had over this. Luckily - my sexual interest has aged with me. Men my age are much more cool and though there still is that occasional rejection I get way more praise. (And even though my foreskin is unusually shaped - in the US guys treat me like I'm exotic.) I'm really glad my family didn't mess me up with unneeded surgeries.
I've considered creating a support group for guys. I'm in New York. A big enough city that someone might show up. But for now I'm just happy to talk with other men about their experiences and try to encourage parents of boys with hypospadias and older guys to not always seek surgery.
I have a pretty active sex life. I'm perfectly functional, and am considered well-endowed. Never had any surgery to "correct" anything.
I'm finally aware that this is how I was made and this is how I'm going to stay.
DUDE, I followed the link to see your cock. Good lord - you're fine! Be happy.
The only thing to be cautious about is the opening of your urethra. Just be careful about getting anything in there. I've had "non-specific urethritis" more than once because some grit or let's-not-think-about-it got up in there and created symptoms that I thought was ghonorhea. Nope. So just be careful about that. (Meaning condoms are not such a bad idea sometimes.)
You look totally regular to me. Thanks for sharing the pic.
