Day 3

Day 3 super swollen, haven’t felt any pain at all other than when i get an erection. First shower went good overall i think doctor did a good job. Now it’s a naked Netflix waiting game. Should i pull back more to put on neosporin or wait a few more days..?

Don't force the pulling the first days. You can put Neosporin on the top if you feel the need to but normally shouldn't be the case. Other than keeping it clean I wouldn'tfiddle around with it much. Deffo no pulling haha.

afer 3-4 days its ok to use vaseline. If you don’t need to leave the house for a week stay home dressed cartoon style.. u know, tshirt and socks but no pants at all. This worked best for me the first 7 days.

I also put a new badage on everyday with lots of vaseline on the bandage and penis head . This way the bandage wont stick to the stitches or blood when u bleed a bit from time to time.

I'm on day 2 and the surgeon advised applying the antibiotic ointment twice daily to the stitches area from the start to minimise chances of infection and advised not to wrap the stitches with a dressing. I'm wearing nothing most of the time but if I do put on underwear I line it with a low adherent dressing in case it bleeds a little. I've been applying Vaseline to the head area, not the wounds, to stop friction with clothing from the start which is essential in my view. I've also been giving it 1-2 minute salt water bath morning and night before applying the antibiotic ointment. I'm in the UK so conscious there are different practices/advice in different parts of the world.

same here no pain just not sure if the swelling I’m having is normal ... looks good but i don’t know nervous. This site helps a lot

Swelling is to be expected that lasts for several days. My shaft also looks like it's done quite a few rounds in the boxing ring - black and blue all over. A cold compress to the swelling area might help though take care to keep the stitches area dry.
