Dissolvable stiches after circumcision

Hey guys. Had you circumcision 3 days ago no blood or bruising just swollen I'm starting no notice parts of stitching sticking out and the stiches seem quite hard is this normal?

Hi mate. My bruising didn't come out until day 3 or 4.

I'm now on day 17.

The dissolvable stitches were really uncomfortable. The surgeon had left bits sticking out which dug in every time I moved.

2 days ago, at day 15, I went to the nurse at my GP surgery and she removed them all.

She said they have done their job by 14 days and can be removed.

I've put a couple of pics on the link below which shows, if you look closely stitches sticking out.

If they're still bothering you in a couple of weeks and show no signs of going, get them taken out.

It was such a relief and things are much more comfortable now.

did it hurt to get the stitches removed?

I found using Vaseline to cover them and as they point different directions to smooth the Vaseline out the same way the stitches point helps. Also prevent s unwanted debris going near the incision.
