I've literally only just started experiencing these sensations - started yesterday afternoon, quite bad last night - found sitting-up in bed eventually eased the pain, then fine, for the rest of the night. However, back again today, with a real feeling I was going to be sick, and even more strangely, gum (rather than tooth) ache all along the top and bottom jaw. But it comes and goes - I walked the dog this afternoon and though aware of the sensation, it was as nothing, compared to earlier sensations. Any clues?

Dull (and 'heavy') persistent ache in centre of chest and upper arms, when I exert myself, and when lying down. What's going on?
Need to get to a Doctor asap Peter.
Thanks Dovaston - Decided to do just that today - Pleased to report ECG test and Blood Pressure 'normal' but actually have a 'reflux system inflammation' which has identical symptoms of an angina attack! Course of prescribed drugs should alleviate in a few days - and after taking just 2 tablets today, already feeling a lot better.
. . . And the peace of mind is priceless!

Do you have any underlying illnesses?
If you have chest pains you should always get checked over by a medic of some sort. And self diagnose as it could be very dangerous.
