im experiencing pain in my left testicle(I assume the epididymis like my GP also assumed) but antibiotics aren't changing my condition!

I am experiencing inconsistent pain in my left testicle around my epididymus, I've received antibiotics which is now my second course which I've been taking for 2-3 weeks now but it hasn't made too much difference, it's difficult to differentiate the pain at times from being in my testicle to my inner thigh, but at times I can zero in on it being in my testicles which feel sensitive and tender, I don't have an active sex life so the chances of it being an STD are pretty much 0, what advice can you offer me and what do you think it is? Thank you

If the antibiotics are not helping you should consider returning to your GP. Do you know why he/she prescribed antibiotics in the first place and have you discussed other possibilities?

One of the most causes of testicular pain in adults is epididymitis, so antibiotics was given in order to treat the infection.

If the body didn't respond for antibiotics, ultrasounds must have to role out the other causes for testicular pain.

It is important to be sure that the condition doesn't progress to become orchitis, an infection of one or both testicles. Orchitis also can result from the spread of bacteria through the blood from other locations in the body. This is called epididymo-orchitis if the epididymitis is also infected.

Spermatocele and varicocele are common too

Less commonly, a testicular tumor may be present. An ultrasound or blood test might be needed if tumor is suspected.

So, you have to back again for your doctor.

I hope you get well soon .

I have chronic prostatitis and epididymitis, and take antibiotics treatment for a long time, synptoms always come and go, but I want to have a complete cure, that I search Internet and found a herbal medicine, named Diuretic and Anti-inflammatory Pill, it's instruction says like this: 99eyao.com/english/p/p284.htm

1. It is a formula-completed recipe with intact effects. The herbal medicine is made by the combination of these herbs based on the ancient prescription. So it is a completed formula for these urinary and reproductive diseases mentioned above, not only curing these diseases from the symptoms but also from the root causes.

2. It can kill Pathogens including e.coli, gonococcus, staphylococcus, chlamydia, ureaplasma urealyticum, mycoplasma hominis, etc.

3. It can dissolve stasis and dissipate abnormal tissue, which can open the blocked duct and make it function well.

4. It can promote urination to solve the urine problems like urinary frequency, urgency etc.

5. It can promote blood and Qi circulation to release the pain caused by infections.

6. It is made of natural herbs that can not bring any side effects like drug resistance and kidney damage etc.

After take this herbal medicine for 3 months, the pain and discomfort symptoms disappear, I hope this could help you.
