Nhs chck
I'm a woman by the way by mistake put it n the mens halth forum.
I suffer a bit with anxiety have taken antidepressants which I've now been off for a few years, although it helped at the time, I came off it as was like a zombie, and have done CBT. As I said I still get anxiety but am now much better, which I believe is down to running.
I did the couch to 5k programme which is on here and haven't looked back, now run about 3 times a week, and of course get aches & pains doing it, and think oh what's that, but carry on with the running as I know it doe's me more good than bad, and have also have my yearly medical checkup/blood tests, so try not to worry about it, I'm 61, so if I can do it anyone can, and there are people older than me doing it. Give it a try, I don't think you'll be dissapointed, and what with the excellent backup for motivation on the NHS c25k forum, I don't think you'll be dissapointed, let me know if you want anymore advice on it..😊
