Christmas Advice
I see Christmas same as any time. A treat on one day won't kill you. And making the first drink a non-alcoholic one helps a lot!
I like the idea of making the first drink a non-alcoholic one. There's a lot of evidence around drinking more water to trick your stomach in to feeling more full and acting as an appetite surpressant.
It's always a socially awkward moment when a person asks what you want and starts the "rounds". Rounds lead to more drinking, more money out and worse health. Trying to find a nice way of saying "Let's buy our own" might lead to better results all round, but I'm not going to pretend it's easy.
Are their any healthy alternatives to the usual Christmas food? A less sweet Christmas Pudding or roast the veg in rapeseed oil instead of honey?
Eat healthy. Try to do at least one good thing this Christmas like visiting elders and gifting them.
