8 Days Post Circumcision

I'm now on day 8 of my recovery. First 7 days wasn't great as I had to be fitted with an indwelling catheter. They're very uncomfortable and mix that with the nighttime erections, it was horrible. The reason I needed this was because my opening had become quite narrow due to my lifelong Phimosis and the irritation it was causing. Anyway, I had the catheter removed yesterday, and everything is going well. I saw the urologist, and he said everything looks to be healing well. I'm in no pain at all. The glans are still scabbed over, and my nighttime erections are not that bad at all. Had my first decent night's sleep last night. Due to my opening being narrow I have to perform self dilation of my meatus for a while just to make sure that it doesn't become narrow again, did my first one this morning, it's not bad at all no pain. Has anyone ever had to perform self dilation.

Glad to hear you're on the mend, mate, and glad that catheter is out. I'm interested to hear from other forum followers if they've had to self dilate.

Cheers, I'm definitely on the good side now and on the mend. Dilation isn't painful in the slightest. Would be interesting to see if other people have had to perform self dilation.
