Evening all, thought it was time to post an update after a very testing 2 weeks since my operation (see my others posts for full story) been continuing my recovery at home, mostly naked from the waist down. The swelling is still there but nowhere near as bad as it was, the antibiotics have worked well. I still have blood at times, normally in the morning after the nocturnal erections. Started salt washing today, still a little concerned as my skin is still covering my glands (swelling I assume) and I am yet to see the incision/stitches. Just trying to remain positive after a hellish first 2 weeks.

I see good progress, stay in touch with your doctor and make sure this swelling is okay.
hey man i think it looks much better than your previous update so things are looking up for you. im on my day 20 and i remember how awful first two weeks were. mine was almost as swollen as yours but luckily the 2nd operation wasn't really required. It's nearly not as swollen but my biggest issue is hypersensitivity. The tip of the penis is still very sensitive if i touch it or rub it against underwear but hopefully that feeling will go away soon. wish you a quick and great recovery
Mine is very sensitive as well, feels like someone slashing me with a razor blade. Frustrating thing for me at the moment is the skin still covers the glans and therefore I can’t get used to the glands touching clothing etc
Hey Man, that's a really big improvement. your swelling has gone down a lot hopefully you will soon see the incision line. 😊
Keep it pointing upwards (not sure how you’d achieve that if naked from waist down though).
Erect picture, cant tell when like this mate
Wow, it looks so nice. I love the appearance of the glans partially covered. The end of the foreskin is looking like it is still on the tighter side. You must have been circumcised for phimosis?
Yes due to severe phimosis sadly, no option but to get circumcised. Thank you for the positive reply
No problem, this is the type of circumcision I wanted as an infant, but my parents did a tighter one instead. What’s interesting is that yours looks similar to the biblical circumcision:
fisheaters.com/circumcision...
Generally doctors give a low and tight circumcision to those with phimosis to prevent recurrence. So definitely be on the look out for the new end of the foreskin getting tighter. How much inner foreskin do you have left? What about your frenulum? Generally men with phimosis will end up having a short frenulum as well.
The thing is the surgeon said a large amount of the foreskin was damaged due to phimosis and my frenulum was also removed. I have had a horrid experience so far and still believe the skin to be very swollen hence the partial look about it at the moment. I am not the biggest in terms of size and believe this also makes recovery more difficult
I'm going to be honest my dick is same flacid at 3.8inch and need to be as when erect 8 inch requires that skin or my knob would bend so don't panic it has also helped keep my bellend sensitivity better on it m8 your fine chill and enjoy it m8 check my post how it looks now curcumsise wise
I had some swelling like that for a few days, then it gradually went away. Yours will too!
So glad to see it’s getting sorted after your ordeal. The cut line looks even.
Thanks Jamie. Thats not the cut line, the incision is currently underneath the skin which is frustrating me somewhat
I am similar to you and now I have an infection. What’s the best way to clean/wash?
Did you move the foreskin back a bit to release the stuff that’s built up and then soak it in a cup of salt water? Or what did you do?
Have you been to get it checked? If not I would recommend you go at your earliest opportunity. I am still waiting to find out results of a swab test the doctor carried out but at the moment I am being treated for a fungal infection and I am taking 1 tablet of 100mg intrazole, this may change to anti-biotics if the swob returns a bacterial infection. Meanwhile I am just cleaning it with fresh water and cotton wool balls and then drying as best I can. I can’t pull the skin back enough (due to swelling I think) where the red flesh is
Thanks.
I went to the hospital last night and they confirmed I have an infection in 2 stitches. I have been given antibiotics and that’s it really. It doesn’t feel like there is enough advice, everyone’s advice is slightly different. Use a dressing, don’t use a dressing, wash with salt water or fresh water. Very confusing when you just want to be better
The advice given and aftercare has been very poor for me, I am very tempted to go back to hospital tomorrow as I am just not happy with how it is at the moment. I have no idea if stitches have ripped or if its just a case of the skin being over it most the time that its going to take longer to heal. I haven’t dressed mine since the day I left hospital on the operation day.
Has your swelling went down at all? Most the time I don’t even feel circumcised as the glands are hardly on show. I have so many questions to ask my surgeon by my follow up appointment isn’t till 3rd October
Where did you get it did? On the NHS?
How did you arrange a follow up?
I have none lol, have the phone 111 if something has gone wrong then I get an appointment.
As I went to the hospital last night I haven’t been on the antibiotics for 24 hours yet so for now I’m doing pretty much nothing except getting up to go for a wee and that’s it.
There is no change yet, as it’s too early. I hope I will notice a difference by Sunday.
And I just spoke to 111 NHS and they said clean it every time you go to the toilet and put a new dressing on. Crazy.
