2 weeks post circumcision

I am now 2 weeks into my circumcision recovery and urethal meatus dilation. All looks to be healing very well, alot of the scabs have now dropped off on my glans, still an area around the tip of my penis where the skin hardens causing my pee hole to narrow, but I'm performing self dilation twice a day to help with the healing of my opening.I'm swilling the glans in salt water twice a day to try and help with the healing and to keep the area around my tip soft and subtle. The area around my tip is very sensitive which over time will calm down hopefully. Just the area around the frenulum is taking the longest to heal, it all still seems quite moist around that area, I suppose that area doesn't get as much air to it, due to it resting against the ball sack.

Am I happy I got cut, 100% yes, I was getting alot of irritation and inflammation due to my phimosis, I'm happy with the outcome at the minute, I know there's a long way to go until it's fully healed, I just want my frenulum area to start healing fully now.

The frenulum area can take a lot longer than the rest of your healing. You need to be patient.

Hi, it's all pretty much healed, I've not got the full colour back yet and I still haven't got my full feeling back around the tip. I'm so pleased with the outcome and that it's all functioning.

So glad to hear it. I had phimosis too and my foreskin was stuck to glans, i had my circumcision last Saturday, so six days, still my head is too bruised and there is white / yellowish discharge but no smell, i checked with my sugeon and apparently its healing.. I am just counting days, hopefully it gets better as days pass.. I had a stapler method circumcision.

Yeah the white/yellowish discharge is all part of the healing, as long as their is no foul smell. The first 2 weeks are the hardest, but then from week 3 the healing really progresses. The scabs take a while to all finally drop off, I still have a little bit of dry flaky skin around the tip. Like I said earlier I still don't have full sensation around the tip, but that is were I had my adhesions. Glad your procedure has gone well. I'm now nearly 9 weeks since my op

Wow, 9 weeks and still healing. I hope you heal completely soon.. When the surgeons talk about recovery, normally they say 6 weeks. However, visually appearance by, you are100% satisfied and no swelling, right? How about masterbation and sex, is it okay for you? Also, i am struggling is with night erections, painful..

Internally you are still healing for months apparently, I have no swelling, appearance wise, I've heard that it can take upto 12 months until you get to know what the final appearance looks like. Masturbation is different, but good, sex is quite amazing to be honest, much better than before the circumcision.
