Hello everyone, Just thought it would be nice to check in again with a mini progress update, might help

It's now 21 days post op: Bleeding has definitely stopped, the scab has fallen off at the base of my head, the stitches I think have all come out (I don't really know how a stitch is supposed to look, I was talking about the sharp point bits), and my greatest achievement, boners don't hurt any longer

Stuff I'm struggling with now:

Unfortunately my treacherous body now realizes it does not have to be scared of boners and I didnt think it was possible for me to get a hard on as many times as I have over this last 4-5 days. It sucks because I feel hornier than a mf as an 18 year old and I haven't jerked off or had sex for 3 straight weeks and knowing I have 3 more at the minimum is absolute torture. And all the Instagram models apparently decided this is the week they're posting pictures in tiny bikinis. I'll still take it over actual pain and discomfort and bleeding though

Q1) I have been wondering for a while, I don't really know if my stitches have come out because I don't really know how it's supposed to look or if there is more than just the dhar pointy bits that were outside, my question was that I have these weird looking groove areas all across the point where my skin shaft and penis head first meet. It looks frilled and there's mini bumps everywhere and honestly I hope it's not gonna look like that forever. Is the point where the skin meats the head supposed to be bumpy ish? Sorry it's tough to describe it.

Doctor check up is in 10 days so I'm looking forward to that as having medical professionals tell me it's all on track would be extremely reassuring.

Thanks for the help in my earlier posts if anyone reads this and if there's anyone else worried about bleeding or irritation etc. you gotta give it atleast 2 weeks because I feel almost normal now 3 weeks in

Sorry that Insta is causing you so many problems. There is a solution to that problem - don’t look at it!!

Great update and glad to hear you're feeling a lot better. Stitch-wise, the sharp ends fall away and the holes close healing over, but don't be fooled, there's lots of healing still to do, months of it (but most of that will happen under the tissue). Stitch material will still be in your body for anything up to six months or more (if the doc used Vicryl dissolvable stitches) dissolving away. But at three weeks it's lost most of its tensile strength and has done its job to hold your wound closed while the flesh knits back together.

As for the boners... enjoy the fact they don't hurt like hell anymore. And I bet you're sleeping better, right?

And no, it won't look like that forever, but it will take a while for the grooves and bumps to smooth down. Do wait at leady 6-8 weeks until you masturbate or have sex. It's not worth undoing all your hard work and healing by getting tempted to do it too early.

Great to hear you're doing well. Keep us posted, buddy.

Gotcha, yeah sleep is normal now and I can sleep on my side again which is nice. The temptation grows every day but I can hold on 🫡 Thanks for all your responses
